How far in advance should clients book your services?
Its generally safe to make the booking as soon as your dates are certain. My clients have booked me 2-4 months in advance.
What is the advance payment before the event?
50% at the time of booking.
35% a week before the event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No. We've setup our business around the idea of giving each couple all the attention their big day deserves. We only take up a fixed number of weddings each season and put our every bit into it. :)
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. Always carry two cameras with me. Equipment can fail anytime. Not having backup would be a very amateurish mistake.
How many photographers do you work with?
2-5 photographers. Depending on the scale and size of the event.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
My clients get a preview gallery of their wedding highlights within 3-4 days of the last event.
All photos are delivered in a gallery within 4 weeks. And albums are delivered in no later than 8 weeks.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. However, clients have the permission to use the photos for print and personal use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
When will the client get the final album?
Less than 8 weeks. :)
